Charles’ work is an expression combining two great loves: technology and art - in line with the creative vision of his photography. Exploring light and the contrast it creates in an image and the illusion of something literal draws him to human subjects, the natural world and structures of all kinds.
Charles A. Eastman began exploring photography long before he pursued his BFA at Syracuse University and Architecture Degree at The City College in New York City. He has used his skills for his design work for decades as well as capturing authentic slices of humanity unfolding in urban settings while traveling here and abroad. He is equally taken by the natural world. Charles’ work is exhibited in juried shows of museums and galleries including the Provincetown Art Association and Museum and The Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts.
