Barbara Humphrey is a visual artist,BFA (SMU). She studied oil painting with contemporary master artists and course study at RISD. She prefers painting from life either still life in studio or plein air practice. She strives to create a sense of drama in her work with the capture of light,and shadow play. Barbara uses a limited palette in her studies and loves to push color combinations to her advantage in her paintings. You may find her work at her BCH Studio in Tiverton,RI, and in private collections. She is an Exhibiting Artist Member of the Providence Art Club.
